EastEnders' Harvey Monroe will spark concern amongst his friends next week, as he grows increasingly infatuated with his online love interest.
Harvey has recently been encouraged to get back on the dating scene, following his breakup with Jean Slater.
Despite some initial hesitation – and a setback from Dotty – Harvey began chatting to the elusive Sophia online, and is now besotted.

As Harvey grows more attached to Sophia – who he has never met – upcoming scenes will see his friends spot a notable change in his behaviour.

Alfie's words prompt Rocky to do some fishing but Harvey assures him she’s the real deal, despite only ever messaging her. Are Harvey's friends right to be concerned?
Ross Boatman – who plays Harvey – recently backed a reunion between his alter ego and ex-partner Jean.
Speaking to Digital Spy at the Inside Soap Awards 2022 last month, Boatman was asked if he'd like the pair to get back together.
"We would love it," he said. "I love working with Gillian [Wright]. She tells me she loves working with me too!"
"I hope [they reunite] – we really don't know. We're kind of kept in the dark about that sort of stuff, for obvious reasons."
