EastEnders spoilers follow.
Lola Pearce and Jay Brown have had a tearful heart-to-heart moment following the discovery of Lola's brain tumour in EastEnders.
Viewers were left on the worrying scenes of Lola collapsing in the women's toilets with a seizure after experiencing some sharp head pains in Monday's (October 24) episode.
Jay and Ben found Lola on the floor, and in spite of her insistence she was alright, Ben called for an ambulance to come to check her out.

Once they were at the hospital, Lola tried to play it off like the seizure was nothing serious, but Jay reminded her in front of the doctor that she'd been having frequent headaches and dizzy spells.

The doctor decided to do a CT scan and conduct a blood test. After a lengthy wait for results, things turned out to be much more serious as a consulting physician returned with grave news.
"Look, I'm afraid there's no easy way to say this, but we found something on your scan which concerns us," the doctor explained.
When the doctor showed them a large brain tumor on the scan, Lola broke down and Jay tried to figure out what they could do. The doctor explained they'd need to do more tests to fully diagnose the situation.
"You're telling me you could be wrong?" Lola asked.

The doctor then informed them: "I've seen cases like this before and there's a strong possibility this tumour is cancer."
Jay then rallied to Lola's side, promising her: "Listen to me. Whatever it is, we will fight it!"
Upcoming episodes will explore the aftermath of this discovery as Lola undergoes further testing to discover whether her tumour is cancerous and then consider surgery.
Soap writers have worked closely with Brain Tumour Research and Macmillan Cancer Support on the progression of the story to encourage viewers to get checked out when they notice similar symptoms to Lola.
