EastEnders has revealed the truth about Alfie Moon's 'wedding'.
Kat Slater was stunned earlier this week when she found out Alfie was getting married again, just as she'd opened the door to spending time with him.
A young woman called Megan had surprised the former couple in the pub to remind Alfie that his wedding date was the following day.

Kat questioned Alfie's motives, asking whether this is another of his elaborate schemes — this time to steal money from an elderly woman.
Alfie swore to Kat that he'd changed his ways and was actually fulfilling a dying wish for Joan to get married. Alfie had supposedly set up a mock wedding for Joan so she could have the moment she'd dreamt of.

However, Shane Richie did recently promise Digital Spy and other media that soap bosses had planned to shift Alfie back towards some of the lighter storylines from his heyday.
"I was on tour playing a drag queen at the time and I got the phone call from Chris," he explained.
"He said: 'Listen, I've got this idea of bringing Alfie back' and I thought: 'Oh really?' But then he sold it to me. He said: 'Listen, we want the old Alfie. Because over the years there's been all very different Alfies and my favourite Alfie is from 2002 to 2005'. And that's the Alfie we've got back."
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
