EastEnders will air a twist in Stacey Slater and Kheerat Panesar's relationship.
In upcoming scenes, Stacey (Lacey Turner) tries to encourage Kheerat (Jaz Deol) to patch things up with his mother Suki (Balvinder Sopal). However, he abruptly stops the conversation as he doesn't want Arthur (Rocco Brenner) to overhear.
Misunderstanding Kheerat's real intentions, Stacey is hurt when she sees Arthur upset and considers ending her relationship in order to protect her son.

Stacey also opens up to Eve Unwin (Heather Peace), telling her friend that she's going to call it quits with Kheerat.

Later on, Stacey is touched however when Kheerat apologises to Arthur and realises he only ended the conversation as he was listening.
The couple have had their fair share of setbacks and heartache ever since they first got together. Earlier this month, Stacey was unsure about the romance with Kheerat upon realising he wasn't ready to go public with their relationship, particularly with his family.

Wanting to test him, Stacey leaned over to kiss him in the café, but he backed away when he saw Suki coming in. Kheerat's behaviour left a devastated Stacey little choice but to end the relationship.
The pair managed to patch things up, finally sharing their true feelings for one another and being able to leave their rocky beginnings behind – but will it last?
EastEnders airs these scenes next week on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, with some episodes airing on BBC Two during summer sporting events.
