EastEnders newcomers Felix and Finlay will make a big mistake in scenes airing next week amidst their father Avery Baker's heartbreaking death storyline.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Avery had terminal cancer before he sadly passed away last week after his brother Mitch threw him one last party.
Karen and Harvey encouraged Mitch to support Finlay and Felix in the aftermath of Avery's death, reminding him that they were family, and Mitch heeded their advice.

In upcoming scenes, the Taylor family prepare for Avery’s 'Nine Night' and send Felix and Finlay off with some money to do the shopping for it.

While on his way, Felix notices Kim and gives her a lipstick they had been discussing before.
However, Felix begins to panic when he discovers that the money for the shopping was in the bag with the lipstick and that Kim has thrown the bag away.

After desperately searching the bins for the bag, Felix and Finlay realise it's too late.
Back at the Taylor’s house, Mitch makes a toast to Avery and the two brothers are forced to come clean to Karen, admitting that they have lost her money. How will she react?
Later, the Taylors recover from the previous night and their attention shifts to Mia, who is upset that the family can't afford to take her to a theme park for her birthday.
Feeling guilty for losing the money, Finlay comes up with an idea. But will it work?
