EastEnders spoilers follow from Tuesday's episode (July 26), which is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer but hasn't yet aired on TV.
EastEnders' Eve Unwin will be left heartbroken in tonight's episode (July 26), when Suki Panesar rejects her.
Monday's scenes saw Eve support Suki in the wake of recent revelations, even opening about a dark secret from her past.
Eve explained to Suki that she knows what it's like to feel responsible for a loved one's death, reflecting on her own tragic experience with her late twin sister.
"I know what guilt feels like, punishing yourself for someone else's death. I knew a girl who was on her own the night she died, because of me," Eve explained. "But was it me who drove the car who killed her? Did I flee the scene? Did I leave her for dead on the side of the road? No."
Eve went on to tell Suki that her parents blamed her for her sister's death, and she has now missed the chance to reconnect with them.

Suki was palpably touched by Eve's support, and they ended up sharing a passionate kiss.
Following their night of passion, Eve continues to support Suki by turning up to the opening of the Panesars' new GP surgery tonight, but is thrown by Suki's cold attitude.
However, when a shock secret about Ash is revealed, Suki turns back to Eve and pleads with her to help.
Eve manages to dig up some dirt on the journalist who knows about Ash's past, and manages to warn her away.
This then allows Eve and Suki to talk properly about their night together, but unfortunately, it doesn't go the way Eve hoped.
Eve is left heartbroken when she realises that Suki will always hide their relationship and insists that she can't be with her if that is the case. Is it over between them already?
