EastEnders spoilers follow from Monday and Tuesday's episodes (July 18 and 19), which are available to watch now on BBC iPlayer but haven't yet aired on TV.

EastEnders' Peter Beale is taking revenge against his grandmother Kathy after their big dispute.

Peter left the BBC soap last week after falling out with his family, but it seems that he has one nasty surprise still in store for them.

Monday's episode of the show, which is already available to watch on BBC iPlayer, sees Kathy speak to Rocky after making a worrying discovery.

Close to tears as she sits alone at the table at home, Kathy explains: "Peter has emptied the business account. He has taken everything. Every single penny I had."

Rocky tries his best to comfort Kathy, but knows that there isn't much he can do to help after Peter's spiteful act.

In Tuesday's episode, Kathy tries to salvage the situation by meeting with a business advisor to discuss a possible loan.

Kathy shows off the accounts and tries to talk up her chances of future profits, but the advisor flags up the large withdrawal from Peter.

To avoid any awkward questions, Kathy claims that Peter's withdrawal was an authorised one as he wanted out of the business.

Confused by Kathy's half-story, the advisor asks: "You just let him take all your capital? Then you need to ask him to repay."

As Kathy admits it's not possible, the advisor confirms: "Well in that case, I'm sorry. There's nothing I can do for you."

Will Peter's behaviour now have further consequences for Kathy?

Peter's exit scenes aired on TV last Thursday (July 14) as he lost patience with Kathy's loyalty to her son Ben Mitchell.

His departure from the show was announced in June, as part of a cast shake-up led by EastEnders' new executive producer Chris Clenshaw.

A show source told Digital Spy at the time: "Whenever a new boss comes in, there's always going to be big changes and it's no different with Chris. He's been working hard behind the scenes since January and is really planning to shake things up, which means saying goodbye to some characters.

"It's nothing personal to any of the cast going, it's simply a creative decision – for big storylines to happen you have to say goodbye to people, that's the nature of soap."

EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One, with some episodes airing on BBC Two during summer sporting events. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
