EastEnders has hinted that Howie Danes is hiding a secret from Kim Fox.
Monday's episode of the show, which is already available to watch on the BBC iPlayer, sees Howie make a mysterious phone call without Kim's knowledge.
In the pair's latest scenes, Howie opens up to Kim about how he has lost a lucrative job.
The children's entertainer had been due to perform at a holiday club for a five-week period, but is told that his services aren't required as not enough kids signed up.

Howie admits that he was depending on the money, as he's being evicted from his flat and needs to come up with a deposit for a new place.
When Kim witnesses Dana Monroe quit Walford East after an argument with Bobby Beale, she spots a well-timed opportunity to help Howie.
Kathy complains that she's now short-staffed at the restaurant and The Albert, so Kim recommends Howie as a barman.
Kim optimistically hypes up Howie's abilities, even though he doesn't have much experience.

Later, during a moment alone, Howie is seen on the phone to an unknown person.
Howie says: "I've got a bit of a cash-flow problem, that's all. I start a new job tomorrow.
"Don't be upset. Look, I've got to go. I love you."
