EastEnders has revealed the aftermath of Phil Mitchell's shock return.
Phil rose from the 'dead' in Thursday's (July 7) episode, on the very same day that his family feared they'd lost him forever.
Sharon was left devastated when she received the news that Phil had been killed in prison, having previously learned of the trouble he was in.

Kat and Sam were equally grief-stricken by the tragedy, but were forced to put aside their heartbreak for the opening night of Peggy's – which was Phil's final wish.

However, they were left speechless when Phil appeared behind the bar – alive and well.
The trio are still in shock as Phil makes a toast to Peggy, and Sam fears Phil will realise what she's up to.
As they catch up, Kat tells Phil she was about to sign the bar over but he is having none of it, insisting he's back and in control.
It doesn't take long for Kat to realise Phil must have made a deal to get out of prison, but he swears her to secrecy for her own safety.
Phil is later shocked to hear Kat has moved back into No.31 following their breakup, and tries to get their relationship on track.

Despite his pleas, Kat insists it's over between them.
Sharon also tries to talk to Phil, but he's called away by Keeble – who makes her demands known and reminds him that she's in charge.
Later, Sharon visits Kat to check-in on her, but the tension between them is apparent.
Fed up, Kat shares some harsh words – she knows Sharon loves Phil.
On edge after her confrontation with Kat, Sharon is nervous when Phil shows up and asks her if she was serious about loving him.
Sharon is unsure what to say, but will she tell Phil how she really feels? And does he feel the same?
