EastEnders has revisited Bobby Beale's OCD storyline following his split from Dana.

Dana dumped Bobby in scenes airing earlier in the week when he backed her father in pressuring her to go to university in Scotland, rather than supporting her decision to stay in Walford.

Bobby struggled with the break-up in Thursday's (September 30) episode since Dana was dodging his calls. She also asked him not to bring up their split while they worked together at Kathy's.

Undeterred, Bobby promised Dana later that he realised he'd "done wrong" and promised he'd "change" if she'd give him a second chance.

"You're not horrible. You're not a cheat. You're just not the person I thought you were," she admitted.

As he reminded her of how the relationship had already changed him for the better, Dana interrupted: "For the last time Bobby, I don't want to know."

Later in the night, Peter had gone off to the bank and Dana also ducked out, telling Bobby it would be up to him to close up shop at the restaurant for the night.

Bobby was now feeling extremely low. Spotting that the cooker was off, he felt compelled again to perform his old rituals of turning it on and off.

The teen's OCD started late last year as he struggled with his mental health, culminating with alarming scenes where Bobby falsely confessed to attacking his father Ian.

Bobby finally got help earlier this year and was able to turn his life around after beginning his romance with new Walford arrival Dana.

EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
