EastEnders star Kellie Bright is backing a long-term future for Mick and Linda – if they survive tonight's boat disaster.
Monday's episode (February 17) saw the couple's lives left hanging in the balance after their party on the Thames took a tragic turn.
Show bosses have already confirmed that an unexpected incident onboard leads to a shock death, but fans will have to wait until Friday (February 21). to learn Mick and Linda's fates.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other media at an EastEnders press event recently, Kellie – who plays Linda – said she had hopes for a reconciliation between the couple if they do make it out alive.
"Of course I do, they're Mick and Linda!", Kellie said. "But I'm also very fond of drama! And I know that conflict creates drama.
"My scenes with Danny [Dyer] are always a joy, whether we're crazy in love or completely tearing each other apart. So, I've really enjoyed this story in terms of our relationship, actually. Some of those scenes have been my favourite to do."

Kellie added: "Linda's in the grip of her addiction, and so everything – the way she's viewing everything – in the outside world is not with any clarity at all.
"Her paranoia and anxiety would just be through the roof at the moment. She's also looking for the reason to drink in everything, and so it's the perfect excuse, and of course her feelings for Mick are real and that hasn't changed, but I don't think she can live with looking him in the eye every day at the moment.
"It's like a mirror looking back at you, and she knows what she's doing and she can't deal with that. She doesn't want to be around – it would be far easier if Mick was drinking with her, or if she had someone who was in cahoots with her, but at the moment it's everywhere she turns. She's not very well."

Discussing what it was like filming this week's watery scenes with Danny, Kellie said: "I loved it. I felt like I was in a movie. It was something different and new. I've never done anything like that under the water before.
"Obviously, your safety is the most important thing so there were lots of people around us like divers – even though you can't see them. Danny and I are so comfortable with each other and look after each other – I felt like I was with my mate."
Kellie added: "It was actually quite awkward keeping my foot in there. That was the thing everyone was worried about as obviously I couldn't just release myself if something happened in the water.
"I did actually bruise myself but I was fine – it was no biggie. We were in that tank for about a week all in all, leading up to Christmas."
EastEnders continues on Tuesday, February 18 on BBC One.
