EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt has revealed which part of disaster week he least enjoyed filming.

Appearing on The One Show today (February 17), the Ian Beale actor opened up about the upcoming dramatic storyline, which will see a number of Albert Square favourites involved in a boat-related disaster.

Woodyatt revealed that the scenes had to be filmed in a water tank, which he was perfectly comfortable with, but learning how to scuba dive? Not so much.

"I enjoyed filming the actual scenes in the water tank, that was great fun," he told presenters Matt Baker and Alex Jones. "[But] the safety dive, I just couldn't get my head around it.

"They built the set in a water tank, and it's suspended so that it moves. So just in case something went wrong, the chains broke, the motor went, and it dropped straight down to the bottom, which was six metres, I had to learn how to do that 'scuba-ry' stuff.

"I'm sorry, I'm not a fish. I could not coordinate the respirator and mask. [I kept thinking] 'Oh no, hang on, don't breathe through your nose you're underwater.'"

He added: "I could not get the hang of it. I really did not like that."
