EastEnders' Ben Mitchell will play a nasty trick on Martin Fowler tonight (October 10) as their war escalates.
Martin (James Bye) returned to Albert Square last week after his teenage daughter Bex tried to take her own life in a devastating storyline.
Despite being desperate to focus all his attention on Bex, Martin has unwittingly found himself embroiled in Ben's troublesome schemes, in the hope that it will ultimately allow his wife Stacey to be able to come home as well.
Martin always knew that he was taking a big risk by coming back to Walford after he and Stacey made a hasty departure following Phil Mitchell's attack – but Ben is unsurprisingly making his life as difficult as possible.
Although Martin initially hoped that Ben would show mercy, the Albert Square bad boy is aware that he can very much use the situation to his advantage.
Having already recruited a reluctant Martin's help in retrieving Lola when she was kidnapped by the Panesar brothers, Ben went back on his word and is now making even more demands from the market stall holder.
