EastEnders aired a new twist in the ongoing baby Cherry drama tonight (January 8) as Alfie Moon fled Walford with her – again!
Alfie (Shane Richie) did a runner with his daughter over the festive season, but has since agreed to return the youngster to Hayley.
Aware he was on borrowed time with Cherry, a distraught Alfie struggled to part ways with his little girl in Tuesday's episode and begged his estranged wife Kat for one more day with her.
When Kat reluctantly agreed, Alfie promised to return Cherry to Hayley that evening – but had a change of heart after spotting his boys in the Square.
Convinced that Hayley would never let him have a relationship with Cherry once he handed her over, Alfie concluded that running off with the tot was the only feasible way to keep her in his life.
After sharing his plans with Ian, Alfie packed up the car and drove out of Walford with Cherry in tow – but how will Kat react when she realises that he's lied to her again? And will Hayley ever be reunited with her daughter now?
