EastEnders is lining up a grisly murder plot as one character ends up in a body bag in a shocking new twist.
New pictures show cast and crew filming the dark scenes on location in the woods, where the unlucky victim can be seen wrapped in a blue sheet.
The images appear to show two dog walkers making the grim finding, before the police arrive and cordon off the area. A forensics tent is later constructed and a murder investigation launched.
Show bosses are keeping the identity of the character under wraps, but with an action-packed festive season on the way, the speculation is already rife.
Fans are already predicting an Alfie Moon death when Kat discovers the truth about his secret love child on Christmas Day, with recent reports fuelling the rumours by suggesting that he will be left for dead at the end of the episode.
We also know that Mick is going to be planning revenge on Stuart, while Mel Owen has been plotting a revenge scheme of her own – determined to make her cheating ex-husband Ray pay once and for all. But who will the murder victim be? And who is the culprit?
