Coronation Street finally revealed the culprit of Theo Silverton's grisly demise last night, through a series of shocking flashbacks. After a impromptu dinner party descended into chaos, viewers learnt that Sarah Platt had hit Theo over the head with a scaffolding pipe – with Gary Windass helping to cover it up.
On the night in question, we previously saw Sarah rushing into the Platt house looking flustered, before she was knocked out by Jodie Ramsey. Now, Tina O'Brien, who plays Sarah, has revealed a hidden detail within the scene, that linked her to Theo's death.

In an exclusive chat to Inside Soap on the Soap Scoop podcast, O'Brien pointed out the continuity between Sarah killing Theo and then being attacked herself.
She explained that her character quite literally had blood on her hands following the death, so they had to be "careful" while filming the next scene in the Platt house.

"So we'd already shot the stuff on the scaffolding and we obviously knew how upset and overwhelmed Sarah would be. We also knew that Sarah had blood on her hands," she said.
"So [that scene] was shot with the blood on her hands. But we had to be very, very careful about what was seen on screen. But it would have been a cheat to the audience to not have the full thing."

While fans were quick to point out her distressed demeanour, the other huge clue went largely unnoticed, with the actor confirming it was too dark to "actually see" the blood.
"But she is a little bit tear-stained, and she has got blood on her hands. And as she goes towards the box to look in it, her hands are sort of there but she's actually got Theo's blood on her hands. It was really, really difficult to film, but we had an amazing director Suri [Krishnamma]," she continued.
"I said, 'if we're doing this, we've got to do it real, and he said, 'yeah we'll do it real, and then we'll just try and be wide enough or cut around it enough that the audience aren't going to tell straight away that it was Sarah.'"
