Coronation Street’s Liam Connor will be the victim of a cruel prank next week, as Mick Michaelis continues to cause havoc on the cobbles.
As the newcomer's true colours continue to be revealed, will his nasty streak be uncovered and will there be consequences?
"Mick has already ruffled many feathers during his short time on the cobbles so far," our Corrie source explains, "and a run in with Kit next week will reveal that the pair have a secret history. But Mick turns his attentions to Liam next, in some pretty horrible scenes…"
Gary’s big idea to buy the builder’s yard didn’t go down well with Maria, but Mick encouraged him to go ahead and make the ambitious investment.

Of course, there was an ulterior motive behind Mick’s advice, as soon after, Gary offered him a job at the yard – which left Maria horrified.
Maria makes it clear what she thinks of her partner’s new employee, Gary doesn’t listen as he is excited about making a success of his new business.
Mick then intervenes in a tense situation involving Liam, when the teen is terrorised by a group of boys who steal his phone.

Liam and Jake join Gary and Mick at the builder’s yard for some work experience next week. But as the day rolls on, Mick decides to play a childish prank on Liam that ends with the teenager being covered in cement.
"Liam was looking forward to getting his hands dirty at the yard," says our insider, "but it isn’t long before he gets ganged up on by his work mates – with Mick as the ringleader. It’s a pretty rough day for Liam but he manages to put on a brave face."

Afterwards, Liam shows grit and determination to fit in with the building site blokes and laughs along with the so-called joke.
But as Gary and Maria meet Mick for a drink after work, will the protective pair find out that he targeted young Liam?
