Coronation Street is set to air chaotic scenes as Rob Donovan makes a desperate plea to Tracy McDonald.
Viewers will know that Rob has been on the run since his escape attempt, having narrowly avoided death after being pushed down the stairs by sister Carla Connor.
However, Rob has been lurking in the background, and dramatic scenes set to air next Tuesday (March 18) and Wednesday (March 19) will see another escape go awry before he makes a shock proposal to Tracy.

In the new episodes, Carla drops Roy at the hospital, though sees Rob’s prison guard Mandy and orders Roy to keep watch over her while she gives Lisa a call. Mandy then heads out of the car park and Carla and Lisa decide to follow her.

Meanwhile, Tracy gets a shock when she comes face to face with Rob in the ginnel, and he convinces her to meet with his contact to collect a fake passport for him. However, later on Mary watches and is intrigued to see Tracy take a package in the ginnel.

Tracy tells Rob to get going, though they are both taken aback when Mary knocks on the door, and Rob tries to escape quickly. Yet in his pursuit his legs give way and he falls over in pain.
Tracy is able to get rid of Mary, though returns to the kitchen to see Rob on the floor. Despite his plight, he suggests that they should leave together for a new life.
Tracy is left stunned by the proposal – how will she respond?
