Coronation Street has updated fans on the conclusion of Harvey Gaskell's dark storyline.
The ITV soap has decided to bring the Platt family's ordeal to a close, as they finally have the money to pay off the dangerous gangster.
Despite not actually appearing on screen, Harvey has been terrorising the Platt clan from afar over the past few months.
The jailed criminal made sinister threats as he wanted repayment – with interest – for money that David Platt had stolen from him last year.

Last week, the saga neared its resolution as Shona Platt desperately blackmailed Daisy Midgeley for the cash.
Shona resorted to this drastic tactic to save her family after David was nearly killed in a road incident that he'd engineered himself. The collision also seriously injured pregnant Daisy, causing her to tragically lose her baby.
In Monday's episode, which was released for early streaming on ITVX this morning, Shona announced that the money had finally been sent and Harvey should no longer be a problem.
Outside the hospital, Shona told David: "Before I forget, I've transferred the money to Harvey last night. So that's it, that's all done. No money to stress about."

While David was pleased that his nightmare was finally over, some tough words from Daniel Osbourne soon provided further complications for the Platts.
Crossing paths with David and Shona at the main entrance of Weatherfield General, Daniel blasted the couple for blackmailing Daisy when she'd just lost her baby.
David, who'd known nothing about this, was overcome with horror as he was faced with the full consequences of the recent crash for the first time.

Later, guilty David confessed everything to Daisy and she demanded that he immediately pay back the £40,000 she'd given to Shona.
David insisted that this wasn't possible, as Harvey already had the cash and there was no going back.
He said: "It's gone to pay the debt. I can't [get it back], I'm sorry."
Have the Platts finally heard the last of Harvey?
