Coronation Street is reportedly lining up a shock affair storyline for Abi Webster.
The character was previously teased to have "temptation" come her way by show producer Kate Brooks.
Now, according to The Sun, Abi is set to sleep with husband Kevin's younger half-brother Carl, who will arrive on the cobbles this spring.

Carl is the son of Bill Webster and his second wife Elaine and grew up away from Weatherfield in Germany, though he hasn't been seen on screen before.

Coronation Street declined to comment when contacted by Digital Spy.
The affair comes amid Kevin's testicular cancer storyline, with the character recently undergoing an operation, while Abi has been struggling with PTSD following Mason Radcliffe's violent death.

Brooks previously suggested that Abi's head will be turned in the future, telling DS and other media: "Abi is going through her own situation as she struggles with the aftermath of a big event that happens in January.
"She loves Kevin and he loves her, but temptation comes Abi's way."
Brooks also confirmed the arrival of Carl in Weatherfield, adding: "We've got Carl Webster coming into the show, who is Debbie and Kevin's brother, to build up that Webster clan.
"We've got big stories coming up for Debbie and Kevin. It's about building that clan up. For me, the Websters, Barlows and Platts are the big clans."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
