Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's David Platt will request a favour from an unlikely source in upcoming scenes as Harvey Gaskell continues to threaten his family.
David made a disastrous mistake late last year when he stole some dirty money, which had originally been taken in a robbery organised by Harvey and Damon Hay.
After Harvey discovered that the money had gone missing, David started receiving threats from Harvey's associates.

This resulted in the family's pet dog being deliberately injured by the criminals this week, while Shona Platt will be abducted in scenes airing next week.
What to Read Next
After Shona's abduction, David worries about the safety of his family and realises the only way he can raise the cash to pay Harvey back is to sell the Platt house, even though he and Shona have only just bought it.
David later meets up with Andy, who he met in prison and recently crossed paths with at the police station, and tells him he desperately needs a favour. Will Andy be able to help him?

Discussing the storyline, David actor Jack P Shepherd said that "David knows Andy is dodgy" and "available to hire to anyone".
He continued: "So he goes to him to ask if he has any work lined up that he could be involved in to come up with the money quick.
"He thinks if he can get involved in some petty crimes he can potentially get out of trouble but this isn't going to end well.
"He's now in with Andy, who's in with Harvey, doing jobs on the sly, hopefully unbeknown to Harvey to pay off Harvey!"
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
