It's truth time for impostor Andy Carver on Coronation Street tonight (January 16) as he comes clean with Steph Britton about his deception.
Andy (Oliver Farnworth) has been pretending to be Michael Rodwell's estranged son Gavin, but he finally realises that the lie has gone too far following Michael's shock collapse at the Bistro.
Wanting to leave quietly without an explanation, Andy prepares to do a runner but is stopped in his tracks when Steph (Tisha Merry) arrives at his flat to find out why he isn't supporting Michael at the hospital.
With Andy aware that he doesn't have anything else to lose, he shows Steph his passport which shows that he isn't who he said he was. As Andy reveals the full story, will Steph understand his reasons for stealing Gavin's identity?
Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
