This week, viewers have seen Joseph complain about being ill once again, and when Gemma secretly shared her concerns with Dr Gaddas, Chesney was furious that it seemed history was repeating itself once again.

The storyline aims to raise awareness of the disease, which can be easily overlooked, and the soap has worked with charity Lyme Disease UK who have given advice on symptoms and treatment.
While the child is told that the condition is treatable and he will make a full recovery, Joseph declares that he wants to live with Gemma rather than his dad, as she was the only one who believed him.
In scenes that will air on Monday (January 22), Chesney apologises to Gemma again for dismissing her worries when she has pointed out that Joseph was unwell in the last few weeks.
However, Gemma tells Chesney that Joseph needs to be his priority, and urges him to speak to his son to try and make amends.
