Coronation Street's Cassie Plummer has some explaining to do in Wednesday's episode (January 3) as Roy Cropper confronts her for framing Abi Webster.
Cassie's lies catch up with her when Roy reveals that he knows she has spitefully caused trouble for Abi at the garage.
Last month, Cassie borrowed a customer's car from the garage without permission as she took Roy on a mission to buy a Christmas present for her mum Evelyn.
Cassie accidentally scratched the vehicle during the journey and later let Abi get the blame for causing the damage.

To make matters worse, Cassie deliberately phoned the customer before Abi and Kevin had managed to get the scratch removed. This caused the situation to spiral out of control, as the customer became irate and tensions rose between Abi and her husband Kevin at work.
In Wednesday's episode, Roy intervenes after hearing what has been going on at the garage.
Roy warns Cassie that he won't let Abi take the blame for damaging the car, so he gives her a chance to come clean.
Cassie agrees to make a confession, but just as she's about to do so, Kevin kindly offers her a permanent position at the garage thanks to her seemingly-successful trial. Not wanting to ruin this opportunity, Cassie stays quiet.

Later, the car's owner comes to collect the vehicle from the garage.
Despite the huge effort Kevin and Abi have gone to in order to make amends, the customer refuses to pay them a penny for the original work.
Kevin loses his temper and takes the situation out on Abi, once again blaming her for the scratch. Will Cassie come clean, or will it be left to Roy to resolve the drama?
