Coronation Street has aired a split for Daniel Osbourne and Daisy Midgeley.
The couple were set to take a major life step by purchasing the Rovers Return until Daisy confessed to her partner that she'd cheated on him with Ryan Connor.
Daisy branded Daniel "pathetic" and "manipulative" when she later discovered he'd already known and sabotaged a job opportunity for Ryan as revenge.
Friday's episode (December 15) picked up with Daisy having moved in with stepmum Jenny Connor and Rita Sullivan, while Daniel was left alone to contemplate his future.

Daisy did try to mend things with Daniel, promising that she would never cheat on him again. However, Daisy also confessed she does still love Ryan, albeit in a different way than she loves Daniel.
"We're done... Don't make me shout it," Daniel told her.
As Daniel tried to figure out his next move, Daisy warned Ryan that her partner knew everything about their affair. This led to Daniel charging into the Bistro to expose everything in front of Ryan's love interest Crystal.
A furious Ryan chased Daniel out into the street, where they had a brawl. Later, Crystal agreed to give Ryan a second chance, though she reminded him she was leaving for Glasgow in two days.
Meanwhile, Daisy was turned away when she tried to speak with Daniel at the builder's yard flat — signaling that it was over for them.
Daisy turned to leave, only to see a loved-up Ryan sharing a kiss with Crystal as they walked home with a bottle of wine in hand.
This messy situation will get even more complicated when Bethany Platt returns over the festive period to potentially revisit her feelings for old flame Daniel.
