Coronation Street's Cassie Plummer is set to risk a huge backlash from Tyrone Dobbs after she makes a decision regarding Hope Stape.
In new scenes set to air on the soap next week, Cassie begins to decorate No 9 in time for the festive season, and suggests a party for Hope's birthday. Tyrone is on board with the idea, though Hope is less keen.
Later on in the week, Cassie tells Hope she can skip school for her birthday, and suggests an idea for the two of them.

They later return home both sporting nose studs, which leaves Tyrone shocked – and he's further irate after learning that Hope has skipped school.

This looks set to be the latest trouble for Cassie, who has been at the centre of a lot of drama since her arrival on the cobbles earlier this year.

In other Coronation Street news, star Rob Mallard has opened up about his character Daniel Osbourne's spiteful revenge plan against Ryan Connor after discovering fiancée Daisy Midgeley slept with Ryan earlier this year.
"Daniel's got aggression but he's not necessarily a fighter," he explained. "He'll fight when it's something that either triggers him or something that he very much cares about, but he's not hot headed to the point where his first thought is to use his fists.
"I do think that Ryan should watch out for the long-laid plans more than anything. I think Daniel would be much more likely to set traps for Ryan to fall into."
