Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street aired harrowing scenes tonight (November 22), as new villain Mason Radcliffe tormented Liam Connor and ended up pulling a knife on him.
Gary Windass tried to get Dylan Wilson to patch things up with Liam, even though Sean Tully told Gary and Maria that he was against the idea as he was still angry over the trainers incident. The couple told Sean that Mason was bad news and that Dylan and Liam needed to stick together so he couldn't bully them, to which Sean eventually agreed.
However, Liam was cornered in the street by Mason and his gang, including Dylan.

They threw rubbish at him and filmed him getting upset, but when Liam retaliated and smacked Mason's phone out of his hand, the bully pulled a knife out of his pocket.

"Do that again!" Mason screamed at Liam while waving the knife at him — before forcing him to pick it up and swearing that Liam would be in trouble if Mason's phone had been damaged.
Mason's mates found the whole thing funny, but Dylan looked concerned.
Liam confided in Jake that he had a knife pulled on him but told him to keep quiet as he didn't want to be seen as "a grass".

Shortly after, Craig Tinker and a fellow police officer stopped Mason in the street and searched him on suspicion he was carrying a knife — but they found nothing.
Mason went to meet up with Dylan and thanked him for hiding the knife but told him that he thinks Liam went to the police about the incident. Liam soon found out that Jake had called the authorities and wasn't happy about it.
As the episode ended, viewers saw Liam being bombarded with vile messages from Mason as he cried alone in bed.
