Coronation Street's Kelly Neelan starts to have second thoughts over her dark revenge plan tonight (September 21).

Kelly is currently determined to make Gary Windass pay the ultimate price for killing her father Rick three years ago.

Last night, viewers saw Kelly make an unlikely alliance with her own kidnapper Kieron by approaching him to murder Gary.

Kelly promised to pay Kieron £10,000 if he did her dirty work by getting rid of Gary.

In Wednesday's visit to Weatherfield, Kelly ruthlessly continues with the scheme on the day of her engagement party.

With everyone gathered at the Bistro, Gary shares some heartfelt words about how much it means to have Kelly in his life.

Kelly sees Gary's speech as a total sham, so she privately warns him that she knows about him killing Rick.

As Kelly runs out of the Bistro, Gary chases after her but is stunned to find her with Kieron.

Before Gary can properly react, Kieron's sidekick knocks him unconscious and bundles him into a van.

Later at the woods, Kieron and his associate Al lead Gary to the same location where he killed Rick in 2019.

Gary is ordered to dig his own grave, with time clearly running out for him.

Back on the cobbles, a guilty Kelly is already wondering what she has done. Is it too late to change her mind?

Millie Gibson, who bows out as Kelly this week, recently told Digital Spy and other media: "I think all the good morals Kelly has gained over the years are completely wiped from her memory and all she can think about is her dad, his morals and the ways he acted and dealt with situations. You see him take over her personality.

"I'm excited to see how it comes across, because it's like Kelly Neelan is a proper Neelan in this storyline – she's not the new Kelly that she's found herself to be. She really starts to change in the period after she finds out about her dad."

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
