The protesting against Nadeem continues in Coronation Street next week and Carla realises she needs to do something about it – but she has another problem on the way in the form of Peter.
Roy, Nina, and Toyah give Carla the heads-up about the protest and tell her that it is because Nadeem is well known to be someone who doesn't exactly have the best business practices.
Arriving at the factory to see the protest in full swing, Carla has no choice but to say sorry to Nadeem and inform him that the deal they have together can no longer go ahead.

While this should be the call for the protestors to stand down, Craig’s attempts at getting everyone to move on does not go to plan, largely due to Griff and his decision to rally the crowd together even more.

Carla and Nadeem have to walk past the crowd from the factory, and Griff uses the moment to hurl a bottle in their direction – only it misses the target and hits Craig instead.
That leads to things getting out of hand. Griff is arrested and hauled off to the police station, and Toyah finds herself stuck right in the middle of all the carnage.

But when Griff gets out, he pushes the lie that it was never him that threw the bottle at all, and Carla seethes when she sees him chatting to Toyah as if nothing had happened.
With Griff now on her radar, the last thing Carla wants to see is him forming a friendship with Peter, but that's exactly what she faces when she sees the two of them together.
Griff is speaking to Peter about his conspiracy theory about big pharmaceutical companies and Carla makes it clear to Peter that she is not happy about the pair spending time together.
Will Peter listen to Carla’s concerns, or is Griff about to lead him down another dark path?
