Corrie's Toyah Battersby receives surprising warning from Spider

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

The last thing that Toyah needs in Coronation Street is more trouble with the law, but that is exactly what she is risking in scenes to air on the ITV soap next week.

Toyah is already facing a lengthy stint behind bars and is currently awaiting her trial over the car crash that killed Imran.

In need of a distraction, she has thrown herself back into her protesting ways, but those close to her have raised concerns that she faces even more trouble if it gets out of hand – which it has in the past.

But Toyah is set on carrying on and she and Peter continue to chat about ways to put the world right next week – and they are soon joined by Spider and Griff.

What to Read Next

The subject of Nadeem Atallah soon comes up when they learn that he is going into business with Carla, and Griff is quick to tell them that Nadeem is known to be dodgy and that he has a habit of being unethical with his working practices.

The group realise that they have the chance to expose him, and they set about trying to work out how best to do it.

Toyah's first stop is to pay a visit to Carla to try and talk her out of working with Nadeem, but she reveals that the deal is done, and she has no way to back out of it now.

While Carla has to deal with an angry Sarah who is frustrated at once again being left out of important decision-making, Toyah reports back to the others and they hatch a plan to bring Nadeem down.

Only, Toyah is left surprised when Spider gives her a warning to stay out of it and to leave it to them. But will Toyah heed Spider's warning, or is she set to make things worse for herself?
