Corrie's Dylan Wilson to make confession to dad Sean Tully

Coronation Street's Dylan Wilson is set make a confession to his dad Sean Tully in upcoming scenes.

Dylan recently returned to the show following a stay in 2020, but when Sean decides to organise a goodbye dinner for him as his departure approaches, Dylan admits that he would rather stay and live on the cobbles than go home.

Sean is surprised after Dylan drops the bombshell at his leaving party and decides to confide in Eileen about how his son wants to move to Weatherfield permanently.

Dylan then confesses to Sean that he had made up his story about being bullied at school because he would rather live with his father than with Violet in London.

Elsewhere, Sean recently sparked a new romance with a dentist called Laurence after Dylan convinced his dad to go and meet him at the Bistro.

The date came after Sean broke things off with his partner Frank when he learned about the latter's past bullying of George Shuttleworth.

Frank actor Simon O'Brien previously spoke to Digital Spy and other media about his character, explaining: "You get these characters in school, who will come to you in later years with a big smiley 'Hello' and you're thinking: 'Don't, you made my life a misery.'

"But they're utterly, utterly unaware. That's certainly the case with Frank – he just does not get the fact that he has traumatised George."
