Coronation Street businessman Stephen Reid seduces Jenny Connor as part of his ongoing scheming next week.
Stephen has been keeping secrets for several weeks, not wanting his family to find out about his poor financial situation.
In next week's episodes, the story interweaves with a separate plot featuring Jenny and her boyfriend Leo Thompkins.
Leo recently turned down a job opportunity in Canada so that he could stay in Weatherfield with Jenny. When he takes up a new labouring job with Ed Bailey, it's obvious that he isn't happy about sticking around.

Jenny senses Leo's mood and assures him that she doesn't want to stand in the way of his future. She encourages him to put himself first and leave if that's what he wants to do.
Later in the week, Jenny assures Rita Tanner that she'll get over Leo, even though their relationship was fun while it lasted.
Rita isn't so sure and can tell that Jenny is merely putting on a brave face.
Elsewhere on the cobbles, Sarah Barlow mentions to Stephen that Jenny is the sole owner of the Rovers Return.

This captures Stephen's interest, so he immediately makes it his mission to flirt with Jenny.
As Jenny becomes tipsy while struggling with her heartbreak over Leo, she invites Stephen through to the back room of the Rovers Return and kisses him passionately.
Jenny doesn't realise that Rita and Gemma Winter have both been busy talking to Leo, trying to convince him not to leave.
Leo returns to the pub holding an engagement ring, but as Gemma prepares to lead him through to the back room, will he find Jenny and Stephen in a clinch?
