Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Harry Visinoni left the cobbles earlier this year with Seb Franklin's shock murder. As Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) and Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) currently stand trial for the act, we are set to witness a series of flashbacks to reveal the truth about the fatal night's events.

Speaking to TV Times, Visinoni revealed that the relaxing of social distancing rules meant the actors could perform close-contact fight scenes that were more explicit.

"I think it'll be quite shocking; some of the stuff we filmed was pretty brutal. We had a fight coordinator, and this time we worked as a close cohort so we didn't have to socially distance, and that made it easier.

"The viewer will see exactly what happened, because they don't know at the moment; they know that Corey's a bad'un, but they don't really know whether Kelly is telling the truth. So the viewer is finally in on the secret, and going forward, they understand who exactly needs to be brought to justice."

Visinoni also reflected on how the change to COVID protocols meant that he and Mollie Gallagher (who plays Seb's girlfriend Nina Lucas) could finally cement the coupling with physical contact in the flashback, compared to having previously filmed the entire relationship apart.

"It was a bit weird filming their whole relationship and having to be two metres apart from each other, but we have a scene this time where we kiss, and that's a really nice moment for Seb and Nina."

Meanwhile, Maximus Evans has spoken out on whether he thinks Corey will be caught out for his role in the murder.

"I'm anticipating that his end will come soon but I'd also be happy if it didn't," he revealed. "A guilty party not being found guilty can put everyone on edge and leave people to take matters into their own hands. So I'm excited to see the outcome."

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
