Coronation Street villain Ray Crosby is set to make a shock New Year offer to Nick Tilsley as Gary Windass resists selling Underworld.
Debbie Webster and Ray are set to continue with their plans for their development, which would see half of the cobbles demolished to make way for a tower block.

In new scenes set to air on New Year's Eve, Debbie is set to quiz Ray over why Gary has changed his mind over selling Underworld. However, Ray is evasive towards her, not revealing the horrible truth that he tried to rape Faye.

Recent scenes saw Gary switch sides in the storyline and withdraw his plans to sell the factory after Ray crossed the line with Faye, finding her distressed as she fled from Ray with her blouse torn.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on New Year's Eve at 8.30pm on ITV.
