Coronation Street star Georgia Taylor has revealed Toyah Battersby reacts angrily during a disagreement with Imran Habeeb in their Christmas baby storyline.
The couple, who have been unable to conceive, will begin fostering children over the festive period, with their first foster child Mason placed in their care on Christmas Eve on a short notice, emergency fostering placement.
With the arrangement only temporary, Mason is soon taken away, leaving Toyah distraught – and when the opportunity to foster a new child arises, Imran turns the offer down, believing it to be too soon for Toyah.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other media in a recent Zoom call, Georgia Taylor revealed it's a move that makes her character feel "really angry", and the couple have a row.

"She's furious," Georgia said. "She's really angry. Obviously he's done it with all of the best intentions. He just wants to support her and can see that she's a bit fragile.

"They've literally just handed this child back, then hours or a day later, they're getting the call to say, 'We've got another child for you'.
"He just wants to protect her and thinks they need a bit of breathing space, but she reacts really badly. She thinks he's going behind her back – which he has, because he hasn't discussed it with her."
Georgia added: "Also, I think she thinks he's making some kind of comment about her emotional stability.

"She finds that quite frustrating, because although she was upset to say goodbye to this child, she's got it together now and it's not for him to tell her that she needs to have a break.
"There's a bit of friction there, which I think is good to show. I admire anyone who puts themselves in the position of becoming foster parents and it's going to come with stresses, trials and tribulations.
"God, it's not easy, is it?"
Georgia also said that fostering "means everything" to Toyah and that she feels "crushed" on hearing that Mason's placement with them is ending so soon.
"She's trying to act like everything's okay and they have to be practical about this – pack up his toys, pack up his things and everything's going to be okay," Georgia added. "But I think it's quite obvious that deep down she's quite crushed and finding it really difficult."
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
