Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Next week's Coronation Street will see David and Shona make a huge decision about their future, while Gary is questioned by the police, and Natasha drops a bombshell on Nick.
Here are 13 storylines hitting your screens over the festive week.
1. Shona gives Ray the upper hand
After breaking into the Bistro and helping herself to some free drinks, Shona apologises to David for her actions and tries to make it up to him. Although David insists that everything is fine, it's clear that Shona's behaviour is beginning to take its toll.
Having watched the CCTV, Ray spies an opportunity to manipulate David and threatens to report Shona to the police unless David drops his campaign against the planning application.
2. David and Shona are on the rocks
After the incident with Ray, David and Shona have a heart-to-heart about their future. When Shona accidentally gives David the impression that she doesn't want to continue their relationship, David is devastated.

As David calls it a day on their marriage, Shona is left reeling and confused.
Later, Nina reveals the family portrait she has drawn of David, Shona and the kids, but Shona tearfully confesses that their marriage is over. Nina and Roy urge Shona to put things right with David, but her attempts to win him around come to nothing.
3. David realises he can't let Shona go
As they wrap up the kids' presents, David promises to continue supporting Shona's recovery despite the end of their marriage – but his gesture only makes Shona more frustrated about being unable to tell him how she really feels.
On Christmas Day, David is touched when Shona presents him with his gift, but the family moment is ruined when Lily gets a jewellery bead stuck up her nose and has to be taken to A&E.
At the hospital, Shona manages to calm Lily down as David watches on and realises how much the kids will miss her being around.
4. David and Shona reunite on Christmas Day
After returning home, Shona's nose is put out of joint when she witnesses Daisy flirting with David and storms off.
David finds Shona in Victoria Gardens and the couple finally admit that neither one wants to end the marriage.
With help from Max and Lily, David stages a re-enactment of his wedding day to Shona as a sign of his commitment. As the family gather to watch the snow fall on the Street, it's clear that David and Shona are very much in love.
5. Maria confronts Gary about Rick's disappearance
Having tipped off Crimestoppers about Gary's involvement in Rick's death, Sarah is questioned by the police about Rick's watch.
Meanwhile, Bernie reveals all to Maria about Gary's desperate attempts to get the watch from her, and leaves Maria with serious doubts about Gary's innocence.
Later, Maria interrogates Gary about Rick's whereabouts. Gary insists he has no idea what happened to Rick and maintains that he had nothing to do with his disappearance.
6. Sarah is furious as Gary lies his way out of trouble
Gary is taken in for questioning and the police reveal that they've found evidence that a body had previously been buried in the woods.
Playing it cool, Gary insists he knows nothing and is soon released due to a lack of evidence.
When Sarah hears the news, she attacks Gary for his lies and accuses him of moving the body before the police could find it. As the row escalates, Maria walks in just as Sarah accuses Gary of murder.
7. It looks like the end of the road for Gary and Maria
Maria questions Gary, wanting to know why Sarah would accuse him of murder. Feeling the heat, Gary is unable to create a believable excuse and Maria threatens to call the police.
Meanwhile, Kelly turns to Maria, asking to see Gary since he's the only person in contact with Rick. When Gary is invited to the flat, he's shocked to see Kelly there with a Christmas card from Rick – and wants Gary to put her in touch with her dad.
Gary is forced to reveal he has not been in touch with Rick for months. Could his latest deception be the final straw for Maria?
8. Natasha has shocking news for Nick
Natasha sends Nick into a tailspin when she tells him that Sam has gone missing after she told him all about a new job opportunity she has in London.
Luckily, the youngster is soon tracked down, but Nick is left reeling when Sam asks to move in with him and Leanne instead of moving to London.
Under pressure from Leanne to be firm with his son, Nick reluctantly tells Sam that the timing isn't right and that he has to stay with Natasha for now.
9. Leanne struggles with Nick's relationship with Sam
In a bid to make the most of their time together, Nick picks up Sam for a visit. Putting on a brave face, Leanne hosts a Christmas dinner for the family and presents Sam with his presents.
However, when Leanne finds Sam playing with Oliver's music box, her emotions get the better of her and she snaps.
Realising that she's asking Nick to give up too much, Leanne suggests he move out and rent a flat with Sam. She promises that this isn't an end to their relationship, but it will allow him to spend some quality time with his son.
Natasha agrees to let Sam stay with Nick for three months until she returns from London, but could it be too much for Leanne?
10. Toyah and Imran spend their first Christmas as foster parents
Toyah and Imran get a Christmas surprise when they receive a call from social services, asking if they can foster a baby as a short-term emergency placement over the holidays.
The excited couple are over the moon with the arrival of baby Mason, and even after a sleepless night, love every minute of being parents.
However, not everyone is as thrilled as the happy couple. Toyah reaches out to Leanne, but Leanne ignores her messages – unable to deal with her grief.
11. Paul gets in over his head
Paul has been feeling nervous ever since he broke the helpline protocol by meeting up with an upset caller in person. Things go from bad to worse when the caller, Will, makes contact again and begs Paul to meet up with him.
Will reveals that his violent stepdad has attacked his mum, leaving them scared for their lives. Paul insists they report the incident to the police.
Meanwhile, sneaky Todd covers up for Paul's absence to Billy as part of his scheme to break the couple up.
12. Billy wants Paul not to trust Todd
After the latest incident with Will, Paul confides in Todd about his decision to tell Billy about everything that has happened. Although he pretends to be supportive, Todd makes Paul promise to keep his own involvement from Billy.
Paul shares the truth with Billy, who is hurt and annoyed that Paul kept the recent events from him. When he learns that Todd acted as Paul's confidant, Billy issues a warning to his partner to be wary around Todd, accusing him of causing trouble.
13. Chesney and Kirk lose the Christmas money
Worried about the cost of Christmas, Chesney suggests Gemma sell more of her new make-up range at the fitness centre but by the time she gets there, Michael has already stolen her customers.
Luckily, Chesney secures Gemma a stall at the Christmas market but Gemma's selling skills leave a lot to be desired. As she heads off for a break, Chesney and Kirk take charge and it isn't long before the sales start pouring in. However, the pair are soon brought down to earth when their stock and the cash tin go missing.
Later, Chesney and Kirk return home with the Christmas presents and Gemma is thrilled, assuming they sold everything. Shifty, Chesney and Kirk don't tell Gemma where their money for the presents really came from.
Coronation Street airs an hour-long special on Christmas Day at 7pm on ITV.
