Alya Nazir will be lured into a trap by vile abuser Geoff Metcalfe in new Coronation Street scenes.
Next week, Alya (Sair Khan) faces a difficult decision when Imran (Charlie de Melo) suggests they sell Yasmeen's (Shelley King) house to pay her legal fees – giving Gary (Mikey North) a chance to get involved on behalf of his shifty new boss Ray (Mark Frost).
Alya is alarmed after a credit check turns up multiple unpaid loans against Yasmeen's name, surmising that Geoff must have forced her to sign off on multiple money-making schemes.
Even more alarming, Yasmeen signed over half of her house to Geoff! When Imran admits that the only way they can sell is to get Geoff to sign over his half of the house, Alya starts plotting.
Geoff relishes in taunting Alya over Yasmeen's financial situation, having no plans to actually sign over the house. Alya doesn't believe him when he insists Yasmeen's 'expensive taste' are responsible for the loans.

Alya gets Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) involved in her plan to follow Geoff, so she can find out what he's done with the money.
Since she overheard him arranging a date over the phone, Alya assumes he is once again seeing escorts. When Alya follows Geoff, she's surprised to find that his 'date' is actually an elderly lady who listens to him on hospital radio.
The night gets even worse when a police officer informs Alya that Geoff had made a formal complaint against her for harassment. Meanwhile, Geoff meets up with his new girlfriend in a ritzy hotel.
