Coronation Street's Carla Connor is given food for thought next week as Abi Franklin sticks up for Peter Barlow.
Carla (Alison King) and Peter's relationship is currently heading for trouble, as they're about to fall out over Peter's ongoing connection with Abi.
As we've already revealed, this Friday's hour-long episode (September 25) sees Carla discover that Abi tried to tempt Peter to join her at a hotel.
Carla is livid that Peter (Chris Gascoyne) kept this from her and starts to believe that he's losing interest in their relationship, preferring to spend his time on helping Abi.

Next week, the couple are still in a bad place as Peter struggles to make amends following the row.
Carla refuses to listen to Peter's excuses, leaving him saddened that a rift seems to be developing between them.

Abi warns Carla that Peter is heading for a relapse and needs her support.
