Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Dev Alahan has been trying to deal with the fallout of his daughter Asha's nude photos being shared for months now. Asha's ex Corey took the photos, which Kelly later shared on a group chat, without her permission.
In order to protect Asha from being bullied about it, Dev has transferred her to an expensive private school and is paying for a reputation management firm.
Financially, Dev is not in a good place at all and is trying to sell the kebab shop, which makes employees Chesney Brown, Bernie Winter and Cathy Matthews nervous about their jobs. Asha blames herself for the situation, aware that of the financial pressure that her dad is under.

However, next week's scenes will see Dev catch her kissing Corey outside, and later, Aadi sees the pair together at their house. Dev is furious at his daughter for going behind his back.
What to Read Next
If Dev can't get through to Asha, then perhaps Nina Lucas can. The two will have a conversation next week where Nina will tell Asha that she can do much better than Corey, she shouldn't be trying to change who she is for a boy, and the right guy will come along eventually.

There's also the longer-term implication of what will happen if Dev can't get his head back above water financially. Will he be able to turn things around?
