Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street villain Geoff Metcalfe strikes again tonight (August 31) by turning his attentions back to Speed Daal.
Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) has been working separate shifts from Alya Nazir at the restaurant, after tensions over his terrible abuse of Yasmeen made it impossible for them to work together.
In Monday's episode, Alya (Sair Khan) is horrified when Geoff tries to move the goalposts by turning up during one of her shifts.
Geoff announces that he now plans to return to work on a full-time basis, whether Alya likes it or not.

This means Alya won't be able to get away from Geoff, or his plans to make changes at the business.
Geoff claims that he has been looking at the business accounts and has identified urgent changes that need to be made.
These include using cheaper ingredients to cut costs, and applying for an alcohol licence for a new source of revenue.

Alya is appalled at Geoff's plans as she has never wanted alcohol to be on the menu at Speed Daal, but he quickly goes behind her back by applying for the licence regardless.
Geoff points out that legally he has every right to be at Speed Daal and force through these changes, but what will this mean for Alya?
Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
