Coronation Street's Gail Rodwell feels hopeful next week as Shona Ramsey pays a visit to the Platt house.
Gail (Helen Worth) spots a clue that Shona remembers some of her old life when she heads back to the cobbles for the first time in months.
Upcoming episodes see Sarah urge Shona (Julia Goulding) to come home to the Street and give David a chance. The couple have been estranged since Shona lost her memories of David after the Christmas Day shooting incident.
In the end, Shona agrees to come back for a brief visit under one condition – she doesn't want David in the house.

Instead, Shona spends time with Gail and Sarah (Tina O'Brien), but it's a confusing time for her as she can't remember ever knowing them. She also fails to recognise Sarah's young son Harry.
Later on, Shona helps to make some drinks in the kitchen and instinctively knows where the tea bags are kept.
Gail notices this flicker of recognition and takes it as a positive, hoping that Shona will start to remember more of her old life.
Gail and Sarah go on to discuss Shona's progress with her key worker, Alice.
Shona wanders out into the garden while they chat, before disappearing altogether. Where has she gone?
