Coronation Street kicks off a huge new storyline for Abi Franklin next week as she realises that her partner Ray Crosby is not to be trusted.
Abi (Sally Carman) has been dating Ray over the past few weeks, but she ultimately turns against him after an online article is published which exposes his true colours.
Viewers are already aware of Ray's sleazy side after his mistreatment of Michelle Connor last year.
When Alya Nazir looks set to become Ray's next target now they're working together at the Bistro, Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) decides to teach him a lesson by publishing an article on the internet about his behaviour.

Abi is shocked to hear the gossip about Ray (Mark Frost), but decides to join him as his date for a charity gala as planned.

However, Ray is about to realise that Abi has an ulterior motive for being at the party and has her own ways of teaching him a lesson.
Corrie fans already have a fair idea of what Abi's revenge will entail, as scenes filmed on location last month saw her setting fire to a car and causing an explosion.

Other spoilers have revealed that Abi will accidentally get caught on CCTV when she sets fire to Ray's vehicle. Ray decides to use the footage as leverage, threatening to go to the police unless Kevin Webster signs over the garage to him.
