Coronation Street's Daniel Osbourne will face another backlash when he turns to Bethany Platt for support after the tragic death of his wife Sinead.
Daniel will be forgiven by Sinead (Katie McGlynn) this week when she finds out that he has shared a shock kiss with Bethany in a moment of turmoil and vulnerability.
Sinead's understanding nature ensures that she's on good terms with Daniel when she passes away at their flat in Friday's hour-long episode (October 25) – but some of her family aren't so understanding.
New spoilers released on Coronation Street's official website have revealed that the fallout from Daniel's mistake will continue into next week.

When Bethany (Lucy Fallon) sees Daniel crying in the Victoria Gardens following Sinead's passing, she decides to go over and comfort him – despite knowing how it might look to others.

Daniel is grateful when Bethany provides a shoulder to cry on, needing all the support he can get right now.
However, when Beth walks past and spots them looking cosy, she accuses Daniel of having an affair with Bethany before Sinead is even cold. Will her harsh words push Daniel over the edge?

Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel, recently spoke about the future of his character's storyline with Bethany, which is expected to run into next year.
He said: "He'll have to entangle all of his emotions. He and Bethany share a guilt, and there's a Sinead attachment to that. There'll be something that he wants from Bethany, but he doesn't know what it is.
"I'm not sure whether he needs to forgive Bethany, or whether he wants her to forgive him, or if he wants to say that Sinead forgave both of them."
Coronation Street airs these scenes next week on ITV.
