Coronation Street's new family the Baileys have settled onto the cobbles nicely, taking centre stage in a few storylines, including Ed Bailey's gambling addiction and the family's subsequent financial worries.
But as the soap now moves onto James Bailey's (Nathan Graham) sexuality storyline after the footballer recently came out to older brother Michael, it looks like there could be another big storyline ahead for Michael himself too.
According to a report in The Sun, Michael (Ryan Russell) will be left reeling in an upcoming storyline when an ex-girlfriend turns up on the street... and brings Michael's child along with her!

The report adds that Michael didn't respond well when his ex told him she was pregnant as he disappeared for a week, prompting the girlfriend to cut him out of her and their daughter's lives before the birth.
The new arrival is also set to cause more upset in the Bailey family, as Michael's mum and dad, Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) and Ed (Trevor Michael Georges), will be shocked to discover they're already grandparents – and they're disappointed to learn that Michael abandoned the child too.

Of course, this is all speculation for the moment as a spokesperson for the ITV soap told Digital Spy that they don't comment on individual storylines, but The Sun adds that Michael's ex-girlfriend will be arriving on screen before the end of the year, so it won't be long until we find out if these reports are true.
