Coronation Street's Robert Preston will plot revenge on hotel owner Ray Crosby, going against Michelle Connor's wishes.
In scenes airing next week, Michelle (Kym Marsh) opens up to Robert (Tristan Gemmill) about her new job and explains that Ray has been making work extremely difficult for her after she turned down his advances.
Although Robert makes clear his wish to speak with and confront Ray, Michelle asks Robert not to do anything and to let her deal with the situation herself.
However, behind Michelle's back, Robert calls Ray's hotel company and – using a false name – submits an application for a chef opening.
Of course, Robert is currently two-timing as he secretly juggles relationships with Michelle and Vicky Jefferies (Kerri Quinn). Vicky is also pregnant with Robert's baby, something which Michelle is likely to discover at some point.
Last week, a report claimed an upcoming storyline will see Robert hospitalised following a car crash, which leads to his cheating ways being exposed.
