Coronation Street viewers were left horrified tonight (August 19), as Yasmeen Nazir discovered Geoff Metcalfe had found a new way to monitor her.

The soap is currently examining Geoff's controlling behaviour over Yasmeen, a storyline set to continue over the next year.

And tonight's scenes saw his behaviour worsen, as he revealed to Yasmeen he had CCTV cameras installed in the house without clearing it with her first.

Geoff claimed he made the decision to increase the security in their house after their recent robbery, which was actually orchestrated by him.

However, viewers know that he just wants to keep an eye on Yasmeen, and they were quick to express their disgust on social media.

After learning about the cameras, Yasmeen was horrified and told Geoff she didn't want them, but his controlling behaviour only continued as he then accused her of not considering his feelings, before finally ending things between them.

At the end of tonight's double bill, Geoff was then seen spying on an emotional Yasmeen with a hidden camera he'd left in the house, and was clearly revelling in her misery.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
