Coronation Street has offered a first look at Jack Webster in danger, after an intruder breaks into Number 13.
The preview, which is part of tonight's episodes (July 26), sees a terrified Jack (Kyran Bowes) – who is home alone – desperately trying to reach his dad Kevin (Michael Le Vell).
The intruder starts looking through Paula Martin's legal papers and enters Jack's room, where Jack is hiding.
Kevin, who is outside fixing Roy Cropper's vehicle, finally sees Jack's urgent texts and immediately bolts down the street.
In his haste, he trips just before he reaches his house. Quickly picking himself back up, Kevin bangs on the front door, as Jack remains hidden under his bed.
Spoilers confirm that the intruder does get caught and Jack is unharmed. The burglar tries to escape out the back, but Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) is on hand to restrain him.

Paula Martin (Stirling Gallacher) eventually admits that the burglar has been targeting her for a while, which angers both Kevin and Sophie (Brooke Vincent) as they accuse her of putting their family in danger.
"I don't think Paula would have made a conscious choice to endanger Sophie or her family in her own interests, but fear can skew a person's judgement and Paula is way more scared than she is letting on," Gallacher recently said.
