Coronation Street will air a new twist in the ongoing Underworld collapse mystery next week, as Wayne Hayes' factory health and safety report goes missing.
Wayne, who was fostered by Roy and Hayley in 2001, now works as a health and safety inspector and has reappeared in Weatherfield to investigate the recent Underworld roof tragedy.
Upcoming scenes will see the pressure for Wayne intensify when he catches a grieving Imran Habeeb trying to steal his report.
Fed up with the lack of answers surrounding his sister Rana's death, Imran will decide to take matters into his own hands, but is stopped in his tracks when Wayne catches him.
Although Nick Tilsley steps in and diffuses the situation, Wayne later discovers his car has been broken into and the report stolen.
However, as Imran is questioned by the police over the missing report, he is left wondering if Nick could be involved somehow.
