Coronation Street star Bhavna Limbachia has spoken out following the news that she'll be leaving the show later this year.
It's been confirmed that Bhavna is bowing out of her role as Rana Habeeb, with The Sun reporting that the popular character could be killed off on her wedding day to Kate Connor.
Speaking about her decision to leave in a video on Twitter, Bhavna said: "I just wanted to give you a little message to say thank you so much for following Rana's journey and for the continued support of the storyline.
"I do have some news – my journey at Coronation Street will be coming to an end. I've had a wonderful time and there's still lots to film.
"I am really grateful to Iain our producer for respecting my decision to leave and we've come up with a wonderful exit storyline."
Confirming Bhavna's upcoming departure, a Coronation Street spokesperson said: "Bhavna will be leaving Coronation Street later this year. She made the decision last year and spoke to producer Iain MacLeod when he joined the show about her plans to leave.

Bhavna has played Rana since 2016.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
