Next week on Casualty, Matty reveals he intends to leave the ED, as he clashes with Stevie after their split – but will Dylan discover the truth? Meanwhile, Cam gets poignant news about Alan as Indie hides the truth, and Faith struggles with Pearl as Iain fights for justice.

Here is our round-up of all the biggest moments coming up next week, in the latest episode of the current boxset, ‘Lethal Legacy’.

1. Matty makes exit plans

After Stevie dumped him over text, the next morning hungover Matty wakes up in his car outside the ED. Dylan finds his son and knocks at the window, furious that he has been so irresponsible. He warns him that he will lose his fellowship if he isn’t careful, but Matty suggests that he is planning to leave Holby soon anyway.

Matty and Stevie clash as they work together on shift, and Dylan later confronts his son when he spots him snapping at Stevie. How will Matty explain this conflict?

2. Jacob and Teddy team up

Jacob and Teddy head to a callout, with 6-year-old Ivy having called for an ambulance because her mum Kirsty – who has sickle cell disease – is unresponsive. The paramedics are taken aback by how mature Ivy is and soon realise that she has pretty extensive caring responsibilities.

Kirsty has overdosed on her pain medication, and when Siobhan asks the paramedics if they think it was deliberate, Jacob is surprised by how quickly Teddy assumes it was.

3. Cam gets news

Cam’s grief for Alan rises to the surface once again when he discovers that the man has left him an expensive watch in his will.

He is consumed by guilt over not being able to save him, though viewers are aware that only Indie knows the whole truth about his death. How long will she keep this secret about Alan under wraps?

4. Rash helps Jessica again

New mother Jessica arrives at the ED in a panic once again and immediately seeks out Rash. She wants to get her baby Arthur checked out, after hearing rumours there could be chemicals in the water, as a resident of Wyvern Hill Estate.

Rash agrees to help, but is his relationship with patient Jessica spiralling into something else?

5. Faith feels uncomfortable

With determined Iain having set up a Wyvern Estate support group, he hosts a meeting at the pub. He and Jodie present the evidence that they have to make a case against developers Goldclave. But when Rex, one of the workers on the site, asks if the water could be infected, Iain can’t give him an answer.

Faith, who is sitting with Pearl at the meeting, struggles to cope with the sound of her baby crying and walks out of the pub. Will she open up to Iain about how she’s feeling?

6. Rida gets a diagnosis

Without telling her friends and colleagues, Rida attends an appointment and gets a diagnosis.

Rida has been silently suffering from stress at work in recent weeks and months, but what answers does she get at the appointment?

Casualty airs on Saturday nights on BBC One and now streams first on BBC iPlayer, where episodes are released at 6am on the day of transmission.
